***New - use international postage rate tables to specify your postage costs per country*** |
 |
 |
 |
24 September, 2012 | 10:43AM BST

Hello,
You can now set postage costs and services per country when specifying international postage services for your listings on eBay.co.uk.
International postage rate tables enable sellers to provide item-based postage costs, weight-based postage costs and surcharges for more than 200 countries.
If you offer international postage on your listings, you’ll now be able to easily specify different services or costs for posting items to different countries. For example, sellers can specify different postage costs of £2.00 to Austria, £3.00 to Belarus and £4.00 to Belgium as shown in the screenshot below. Please check the International postage rates that apply to your items as this will vary depending on the carrier you use, the item size and the item location.
It’s easy to set up international postage rate tables:
1. Go to My eBay, select the Account tab and Site Preferences.
2. Click the Show link on the Postage and packaging preferences to see the Postage rate tables section.
3. Click the Edit link next to the Use postage tables option.
4. On the next page, you can set your domestic and international postage rates.
5. Once you’ve finished, click the Apply button.
Once international postage rate tables have been set up, they can be used any time an item is listed.
Note: You must continue to comply with applicable laws relating to refunds and returns and these may vary in different countries. You must make it clear in your listing if you do not cover the cost of postage of any returned items.
Watch our new video to find out more about using international postage rate tables.
If you use a third-party selling tool, check with your provider to find out when international postage rate tables will be available.
Regards,
The eBay.co.uk Team

***Site issue impacting multi-variation listings *** |
 |
 |
 |
07 September, 2012 | 02:27PM BST

We are aware that some sellers have been experiencing issues relating to a limited number of items listed as a multi-variation listing.
The interruption resulted in some listings appearing to not have sufficient inventory. Potential buyers would’ve received an email from eBay stating that the item was out of stock and the order could not be processed and that their payment was refunded immediately by PayPal.
While this issue only affects a small number of sellers we want to let you know that we have identified the technical cause and are working to resolve it within the next 24 hours. In the meantime you can check whether an item has been paid for via your eBay or PayPal seller accounts.
We will be in contact with any sellers that have been impacted by this issue and will be refunding insertion fees for any affected listings.
We apologise for this issue and the inconvenience it may have caused you.
Regards,
The eBay team
