As previously announced, from 10 July 2012, the maximum final value fee for both auction-style and fixed price format listings will increase from £40 to £75 for private sellers.
This means that while the 10% final value fee was previously capped at a final sale price of £400, it is now £750.
For example, if you sell an item for under £750, your final value fee will be 10% of that sale price. If your item sells for over £750, you’ll be charged a maximum final value fee of £75.
This change only applies to the final value fee charged after an item is sold. You won’t pay a final value fee if your item does not sell. Insertion fees and optional feature fees remain unchanged.
This change does not apply to Motors listings, property or classifieds.
This change is for private sellers only. Fees for business sellers are unchanged.
