14 February, 2012 | 03:31PM GMT

Hello,

From 13 February, we’re testing an enhanced version of recently viewed items.

This enhanced display will appear in a more consistent manner on the global footer of search results pages and active item pages. Buyers who have shown an interest in a seller’s item will be encouraged and reminded to purchase. A direct link will allow quicker and easier access to the items.

Depending on feedback received, we may introduce this feature permanently and expand to other pages.

***Severe weather in the UK – Effect on Deliveries***

04 February, 2012 | 08:44PM GMT

The severe weather conditions affecting much of the UK may cause delays to postage deliveries over the coming days.

We’ve been in contact with delivery providers and they have informed us that they are doing all they can to ensure that deliveries are getting through. You can keep up to date with the latest service information from the Royal Mail.

In the meantime, in order to manage buyer expectations, we encourage our sellers to keep buyers informed of when an item is dispatched and tell them when there may be a delay due to the weather. This is especially true if you are dispatching to an international buyer who may not be aware of the adverse weather in the UK.

For buyers who may be living in or are expecting deliveries from weather affected regions we encourage you to reach out to your seller via My eBay, by phone or email if you have concerns about your item. You can request contact details for your seller here.

We will be updating this announcement over the coming days as more information on the weather conditions and its effect on deliveries becomes more apparent.

Regards,
The eBay Team
