eBay is committed to keeping counterfeits off our site. We’ve recently teamed up with the Knock Off Nigel campaign to raise awareness on how to spot and avoid buying fake DVDs on eBay.

We have content on our homepage and on DVD-related pages for the next two weeks which will take you to the eBay Against Counterfeits homepage. The site contains a guide on ‘How to Avoid Knock Off DVDs’, what to do if you buy one unwittingly, and will give you the opportunity to have a go at the customisable Knock Off Nigel video game where you can pelt something at your very own Nigel!

The site will remain accessible from the Safety Centre, where you can also find out more information on how to protect yourself and what else we’re doing to keep counterfeits off our site.
