We would like to inform you that in a few days we will modify slightly the top of the item page. We will add a field next to the Place Bid button for you to type in and for you to submit your bid directly into, just as is already the case on the bottom of the page.

Over the last 6 weeks we have tested this change with a small percentage of buyers. The results have been positive. Not only does this save buyers time by removing an extra click of the mouse, but we’ve seen that it’s had a positive effect on bidding. As a result, we’ve decided to introduce this change sitewide.
