We wanted to let you know about our new features: My World and eBay Blogs.
My World
My World is an updated profile page that complements your About Me page. It brings together many features already available on eBay to help you build a page that reflects you and your interests.
You can customise My World's look, layout and content using a variety of features and modules:
- Feedback – Feedback will always be displayed at the top of My World so you can see the transaction history of each eBay member at a glance.
- Photo/Icon – Show the world what you look like or, if you’re shy, choose from more than 30 icons instead.
- Bio – Tell eBay members about your interests, your selling policies and other things you want to share. You can also create search tags to make it easy for other eBay members to find you.
- Listings – Display your current listings and customise how they appear on your My World page.
- Shop – eBay members with eBay Shops will have their own Shop module with customisable promotion boxes.
- Favourites – Show your favourite searches and favourite sellers.
- Reviews & Guides – Reviews & Guides let you share your opinions and demonstrate your knowledge. My World lets you showcase your Reviews & Guides so people can see the useful information you’ve contributed.
- Blog – Include your latest eBay Blog posts on My World.
Visit myworld.ebay.co.uk or myworld.ebay.ie to find out more and start personalising your My World page.
eBay Blogs
Use your eBay Blog for fun or business. Share your thoughts on interesting items you’ve stumbled across on eBay, pick out some tips and tricks you’ve got for other eBay members, or even just talk about the weather. To help make your blog personal, you can customise the appearance with a variety of templates or you can use HTML and stylesheets to create your own look.
If you’re a seller, a blog can be a useful way of interacting with potential buyers and talking about your products.
Set up your own blog and find others to read by going to blogs.ebay.co.uk or blogs.ebay.ie.
Regards,
The eBay.co.uk & eBay.ie Teams
