We are pleased to announce that we are making a number of category changes during the week beginning 22nd May 2006.
The changes are necessary to accommodate the continuing growth of eBay.co.uk and to help buyers and sellers trade more effectively and efficiently. There will be changes made to a number of categories, including expansion of the following:

Books, Comics & Magazines
Clothes, Shoes & Accessories
Computing
Home & Garden
Significant changes have been made in the following categories as described below:
Baby
- Unisex Baby Clothing categories expanded.
- Toys & Activities reorganized.
Clothes, Shoes & Accessories
- Boys’ Clothing expanded and reorganized.
- Girls’ Clothing expanded and reorganized.
- Wedding Accessories moved to Level 2 category.
- Wedding Clothing categories significantly expanded.
Computing
- Fans/ Heatsinks significantly expanded.
- Motherboards category expanded.
- Laptop Accessories categories expanded.
- Peripherals renamed to Peripherals & Multimedia and reorganized.
Home & Garden
- Bedroom Furniture categories significantly expanded.
- Major Appliances categories expanded.
By 26th May you will be able to see the new and changed category IDs on the All Categories Page.
