***Research Email Information***

11 November, 2005 | 05:25PM GMT

At eBay we are always looking at ways to develop our services and communications so they better meet your needs and drive your trading success.

For this reason we are inviting a selection of members to participate in a simple online survey. If you receive this invitation, you will be invited to participate through a link to a third party site hosted for us by Insight Express. You will not be asked for your eBay password or personal finacial information such as Credit Card details.

Rest assured that this is not a spoof or scam email, and we would greatly value your opinions if you can spare the time to share your opinions.

***Changes to Search Results: Shop Items***

09 November, 2005 | 06:02PM GMT

We want to give you notice of some minor changes to Search and Browse results that will affect the way buyers can see Shops Inventory Format (SIF) items in the main search and browse results on eBay.co.uk.

Currently, when a member searches or browses the site and there are ten or fewer results, up to ten SIF listings will be displayed. The SIF items appear in a separate section at the bottom of the page, below a section showing any relevant international items.

From November 9th 2005 we will be making two changes to the way search and browse results are viewed:

1- The SIF items section will move above any 'International Items'
2- The number of SIF items shown will increase from 10 to 30.

For the time being we are viewing these changes as a trial. We will be monitoring how these changes affect buyers and sellers on the main site and, depending on the outcome, may implement these changes permanently.

Regards,

The eBay.co.uk Team
