What is it?

All Listers who Buy 1 Homepage Featured for one listing will get the next Homepage Featured Listing absolutely FREE, i.e. on every 2nd Homepage Featured listing the fee will be waived off.

The more you list with Homepage Featured the more you get FREE. E.g. If you have listed 5 listings with Homepage Featured you get 5 Free, on 10 you get 10 Free and so on so forth.

Multiple Quantity listings are included in the promotion however the benefit applicable to each listing would be equal to the cost of the first listing.

The fee waiver will apply to a maximum of the original cost for the 1st Homepage Featured Listing.

For example: The 1st Homepage Featured Listing is created with Single Quantity charged at Rs. 150/-, then the Second Listing with Homepage will get a fee waiver to the extent of Rs. 150/- only.

We will like to introduce a new feature that aims at improving the way you respond to emails sent to you through eBay's systems (such as Ask Seller A Question).

Currently, when an email is sent to you through eBay's system -- and the sender has chosen to hide their email address -- you cannot respond directly from your email client. Instead, you are directed to "Use The Yellow Button" within the body of the email, which requests you to log on to your My Message to reply to the email.

We've heard from members that this can be confusing and inefficient, especially when you have a large volume of emails to answer.

To make responding to your eBay email easier, we've developed Anonymous Email Forwarding. This change will allow you to respond to email directly from your own email client, while still protecting the sender's privacy. This feature will launch near the end of the month.

The anonymous email forwarding service will help members communicate easily with one another while preserving the privacy of your email addresses. Of course, you can still use My Messages to respond, if you prefer.

We will like to introduce a new, optional way that you can sort listings on search results pages called "Best Match".

How "Best Match" Sorting Works
"Best Match" lets you sort the listings you see based on a concept called relevance. A particular listing's relevance is based on past buyer behavior, as well as information like the listing title and description. For example, if most buyers running a particular search often end up viewing, bidding on, or buying, a certain type of item more often, this will be factored into our relevance calculations. These types of items might then display higher on the page in subsequent searches.

One very important note: using the Best Match sorting option won’t change which items you see when you search – only the order in which listings are displayed.

Where to find "Best Match" sort
"Best Match" is a completely optional way buyers can sort their search results. You'll be able to find this option in the next few days by clicking the drop-down menu next to "Sort by" at the top of the results list. If you’d like this to become your default sort view, use the “customize display” link right next to the drop-down.

If it's not in My Messages, it's a fake email. If you receive a suspicious email that looks like it's from eBay, please forward it to spoof@ebay.com. We will respond (usually within minutes) to tell you whether or not the email is authentic.

• Always use a safe payment mode. - eBay strongly encourages its members to use payment methods that are safe. Click Here to see the list of Safe Mode of Payment. avoid using instant cash wire transfer services such as Western Union or Money transfer. It's against eBay’s Safe Payments Policy for a seller to request payment via these methods as they've proven to be unsafe when paying someone the buyer doesn't know.

• Always Verify Second Chance Offers. - Sending fake Second Chance Offers is a common trick used by fraudsters. If you receive an email with a Second Chance Offer for an item you recently bid on, please check your My Messages inbox (located in My eBay) on the eBay site to make sure the offer is authentic. If it appears in My Messages with the title 'eBay Second Chance Offer for Item...', it's authentic. If the Second Chance Offer does not appear in My Messages, or appears with a different title, it is not legitimate and should be ignored. Help us fight this, by reporting these fakes to spoof@ebay.com.

• Download the eBay Toolbar and the PayPal SafetyBar. - The eBay Toolbar includes Account Guard which indicates when you are on a legitimate eBay or PayPal site, and alerts you when you are on a known fraudulent site

• Monitor your account regularly for suspicious activity. - Prevent problems by staying alert and catching any suspicious activity early. We recommend that you log into your eBay and PayPal accounts frequently to ensure that all the transactions listed are legitimate.

• Be suspicious of any email that requests personal information. - Be cautious of other emails that request you to click a link and submit your financial or personal information. If in doubt, call or contact the institution first to verify the authenticity of the email. Do not click on any links in this type of email if you can not verify that it is authentic. Only enter your financial information on secure websites. Check that a website is secure by looking for the closed lock symbol near the bottom of your browser window. And, of course, use a payment method such as PaisaPay, which lets you pay without sharing your financial information with the person receiving your money. PaisaPay also covers you upto 50,000 for any eBay purchase.

All listers who list with Featured Plus in Promo Period will get 1 FREE Featured Plus listing on every 1 Feature Plus listings that they list. i.e. on every 2nd Feature Plus listing the fee would be waived off. In case a seller has listed 7 listings with Feature Plus in promo period the Fee would be waived off on 3 of those listings. If you have 30 listings (single category), and all with Featured Plus, the normal fees you would pay would be Rs. 1800 (Rs. 60 * 30). During this promotion, you will get 15 Featured Plus Listing worth Rs. 900 FREE. Therefore, you will only pay Rs. 900 (Rs. 1800 - Rs. 900) for 30 Featured Plus Listings in 2 categories during the promotion.

All other charges, Final Value Fees, and other feature fees will be charged as applicable
