From next week onwards, we will be changing the Closed View Item pages. This is the page, a buyer sees, when he comes to eBay from an off eBay site. Currently the buyer gets to see other items from the same seller. However due to various reasons, most of the time, buyer does not get to see relevant products. This results in bad user experience.

After the changes are implemented, the buyer will be seeing similar active items from other sellers. This change will help new buyers who come from outside eBay and are often confused about how to find active listings of products that they are looking for.

Sellers, please note: If you have cross-promotion connections (link) set up with other sellers, those items will continue to be the only items displayed. Also, as before, you may opt out of this program. Doing so means your closed item pages will not display similar items from other sellers, nor will your active listings appear on other sellers’ closed items.
