How would you use $25,000 to start or grow your eBay business? Answer that one simple question with a basic business plan and video summation, and you can enter the eBay Sellers Challenge for a chance to win $25,000 to put your business on a faster track.
In partnership with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, the world’s largest foundation devoted to entrepreneurship, we are providing tips for success, advice for starting or growing a business and other resources for entrepreneurship at the Sellers Challenge website: http://sellerschallenge.ebay.com.
Entering the Sellers Challenge is simple. Just log on to sellerschallenge.ebay.com to submit your business plan, then create a short video to share your passion for selling on eBay and why you want to grow your business.
You can enter your plan in one of four categories:
- Current or former members of the Unites States armed forces;
- Individuals or small businesses who have not sold on eBay;
- Part-time sellers who want to go full-time on eBay; and
- Full-time eBay sellers who want to grow their business further.
One winner in each category will receive a $25,000 grant to bring their plan to life. Once we have narrowed the entries down to 8 finalists, eBay community members will vote for 1 winner in each category at sellerschallenge.ebay.com. Runners up will each receive $5,000 to apply to their business.
But time is running out. We must receive your submissions no later than 11:59:59 PM PT on July 7, 2009 at sellerschallenge.ebay.com. Be sure to get your entry in right away!
