Hi everyone...I'm Jeff Loui with the Buyer Experience team. If you've checked eBay's Sneak Peek page or tuned into our recent Town Hall events, you already know about eBay Countdown. eBay Countdown is a new browser-based tool that lets you track and bid on auction listings – and it's fun!
For the past few months, we've been testing eBay Countdown as a limited beta. After a lot of great feedback from our members, we're now ready to make eBay Countdown widely available. You can check out the tool at http://countdown.ebay.com.
We think you'll find this new tool extremely helpful (and did I already mention fun?). Some highlights include:
- Real time updates. See the time remaining and current bid (no need to hit 'Refresh'!)
- Visual and voice alerts. Get helpful reminders before the items that you're bidding on, or watching, end.
- Fast and easy bidding. Bid with just one click.
- Quick access to last minute deals. Find those great steals - items ending soon with no bids.
