***Upcoming Workshops: Managing Risk by Analyzing Customer Behavior***

October 26, 2007 | 05:19PM PST/PT

We would like to invite you to attend the following workshops next week:

Managing Risk by Analyzing Customer Behavior
This workshop will be held on Thursday, November 1st from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Pacific time.

Please join members of the PayPal Risk Operations Support team in a discussion on how getting to know your customer can help manage and mitigate the amount of risk inherent with online transactions. Statistics show an upward trend in online revenue losses due to fraud, demonstrating the ever-increasing importance of managing your risk. How a business balances the risk of loss, against the rewards of higher profits is different for everyone. PayPal is here to help you reduce your exposure to risk and provide advice that has proven itself useful time and time again. The Topics of discussion will include: Tracking and Analyzing Customer Behavior, Building a Buyer Profile and Determine Risk versus Reward.

Workshops are hosted in discussion threads on the Workshops Board. To get to the Workshops Board:

  • Go to www.ebay.com
  • Click on Community at the top of the page
  • Click on "Workshops" in the "Events" section
  • This will bring you to the threaded Workshops Board
