Hi again everyone. I'm here to let you know about a couple of shipping-related features that will be available in time for the busy holiday season.
Print Up to 50 USPS Shipping Labels At Once
At eBay Live! last summer, the United States Postmaster General John E. Potter announced that before the end of the year, you'd be able to print multiple U.S. Postal Service® shipping labels through PayPal.
I’m very pleased to let you know that next week we're introducing MultiOrder Shipping on PayPal. With MultiOrder Shipping, you'll be able to print up to 50 domestic U.S. Postal Service shipping labels at a time, right from your PayPal account. The best part? It's all at no cost to you!
Other benefits include:
- The ability to combine multiple eBay sales into one shipment – great for driving repeat business from buyers.
- The introduction of a Label Identification sheet, which gives sellers the ability to easily match shipping labels to packages.
- The ability to import eBay sales directly into MultiOrder Shipping – no need to type in buyers’ addresses.
- Management of shipments and delivery confirmation from one location.
- Easy scheduling of Free Carrier Pickup from the U.S. Postal Service right from the MultiOrder Shipping tool.
MultiOrder Shipping will be rolled out over the course of next week. Sellers using Selling Manager Pro will be able to access it from the tool early next week, and all other sellers will follow a few days later.
For more information about MultiOrder Shipping, please see our information page.
"Free Shipping" Filter in Search Results
To give buyers an easy way to find listings that offer free shipping, we recently added an optional "Free Shipping" filter to search and browse results. Buyers can add it by clicking the Customize link under Search Options on the left-hand side of the results page.
Sellers - How to take advantage of this new filter
Sellers, for your items to appear when buyers use this filter, you need to enter your shipping costs as "0" when you list your items, and you cannot require insurance (listings with optional insurance will still be shown). The filter also considers the buyer's location – for example, say you offer Free Shipping for domestic buyers, but charge an international shipping cost. Buyers located in the US will see your listing when they filter for Free Shipping, but international buyers will not.
Sincerely,
Leigh Goldstein
