June 21, 2005 | 02:17PM PST/PT

We are pleased to announce two enhancements to allow more sellers to purchase and print U.S. Postal Service® shipping labels.

First, sellers will now be able to choose from a broader selection of label printers when using eBay's Online Postage. In addition to the Zebra printers currently supported, sellers can now use the following label printers when printing shipping labels for eBay transactions.

  • Brother QL-500 - 2.4” x Continuous
  • Brother QL-550 - 2.4” x Continuous
  • DYMO LabelWriter 330 Turbo – 2.4” x 7.5”
  • DYMO LabelWriter 330 – 2.4” x 7.5”
  • Pitney Bowes LPS-1 – 2.4” x Continuous

In order to enable your Zebra, Brother, DYMO or Pitney label printer, please select the “Edit Printer Settings” link when printing labels on PayPal.

In addition to the printers expansion, Mac users who run the Safari browser (version 1.2.4 and above) can now purchase and print USPS® shipping labels!

To access eBay's Online Postage, click on the “Print Shipping Label” link on the Item Page or My eBay or on the “Ship” button on the Paypal Account Overview page. For more information about eBay's Online Postage, please visit the Shipping Zone on eBay.
