Hi everyone, this is Ira Grossman from eBay's Shipping team. I’m very excited to announce that eBay Canada’s Shipping Calculator is now live-to-site on www.ebay.ca. Calculated shipping is a free and simple-to-use feature that allows you to easily include shipping costs in your listings on ebay.ca (in English or French).
Calculated shipping will allow you to:
Automatically calculate and display accurate Canada Post domestic, US and international shipping costs in the item listing and eBay search results, based on the buyer's location;
Research domestic, US and international Canada Post shipping services and costs, based on your item’s weight, dimensions, and location.
Calculated shipping will help you:
Increase sales. Listings that include calculated shipping costs are more likely to end in a sale.
Improve efficiency. The need to manually research and calculate shipping costs is eliminated.
Save time. Emails from buyers about shipping costs will be reduced.
Speed up checkout. Pre-filled shipping details make it easy and quick for buyers to checkout.
Build customer loyalty. Up-front, accurate shipping costs enhance the buyer's experience, building trust and chances of repeat purchases.
