For a small percentage of buyers, at the top of the item page next to the Place Bid button we added a field that allowed them to type in and submit their bid directly - just as they can at the bottom of the page. Not only does this save buyers time by removing an extra click of the mouse, but we’ve seen that it’s had a positive effect on bidding. As a result, we’re going to introduce this change sitewide in the next few days.
