eBay will be releasing an update to the eBay Enhanced Picture Services ActiveX control software this week (week of June 19th, 2006). Installation of the update will be mandatory for users of Enhanced Picture Services. Users of the current version will be prompted when they upload pictures to eBay to install the new version (version 48).

The new version of the Enhanced Picture Services ActiveX control software includes internal changes to fix issues reported by members and to enhance security. There are no visible changes in the features of the software for adjusting and uploading pictures to eBay.
