Hi, I’m Russ Patterson from eBay Canada’s Product Management team. Last month, we introduced a "Shipping Costs" column to the Search Results and Listings pages, and removed the "Country" column. However, many members expressed the desire to keep the "Country" column. As a result, we are re-launching the "Shipping Costs" column and, at the same time, we are maintaining the "Country" column.
As a result, eBay members will now see both the shipping costs, and the country location, for each listing automatically displayed on all Search Results and Listings pages. This should save buyers’ time by helping them get a more accurate idea of the total cost of an item before having to click into the listing. If you would prefer not to see the shipping costs on these pages, you can opt-out by using the “Customize Display” link near the top right-hand side of the Search Results and Listings pages.
If you are a seller, there is nothing new you have to do - just enter in your flat-rate shipping amount for your listing through an eBay listing tool, and the correct applicable shipping amount will be displayed in this shipping column. Please note that if you offer more than one shipping option applicable to a given territory (e.g., Canada, US or International), the first one you list will be the one displayed, so always enter your most economical shipping option first!
We look forward to your feedback on these features.
Sincerely,
Russ
