During the week commencing 10th of October 2011, eBay.com.au will launch a new buyer experience in Search that is focussed on showing grouped products before individual listings.
In order to make a faster purchasing decision, technology buyers expect to be able to find the product they want easily, including the best deals available from sellers who offer excellent service.
As a result, rather than a list of individual items, all search results containing items listed in the Digital Cameras, Mobile Phones and Apple Laptops categories will be grouped by product and highlighted in search results above individual listings. Sellers of items in these three categories will need to add a matching product from eBay’s catalogue to their existing and future listings in order for them to be included in the new product-based search results and Product Detail Pages.
Sellers are encouraged to check all existing listings (including Good 'Til Cancelled) in the affected categories and link them to matching products in the catalogue by the week commencing 10th October 2011. You can revise listings in bulk in My eBay or in Selling Manager and Selling Manager Pro.
