eBay Explained
April 2011
***UPDATE Optimisation of search functionality***

11 April 2011 | 04:57PM EST

As previously announced, throughout March we optimised Best Match, eBay’s default sort order for search results. As a result of this optimisation some sellers may have seen a change in the position of their listings in search results.

In order to help you to understand and optimise the performance of individual listings we have recently launched the new eBay Listing Analytics tool. The tool provides insight into your listings and their performance so that you will be able to revise as needed to increase clicks and sales.

The tool is available now for all registered sellers and can be found in the Applications tab in My eBay. The tool will also be accessible from various other places on the site such as the item page, Seller Dashboard, Selling Manager/Selling Manager Pro.

Read more about how to access and use the new listing analytics tool here.

Regards,
The eBay Team

As announced in February, from today (April 5) eligible sellers listing auctions starting at 99c will get insertion fees free for up to 15 items per month. Further information can be found here.
