With immediate effect, eBay is changing the Unpaid Item dispute process to make it quicker and more efficient for sellers.
The changes include:
- Reducing the amount of time before a dispute can be opened from 7 to 4 days
- Reducing the time to resolve a dispute from around 60 to approximately 30 days
- Reducing the period of time after a sale for a dispute to be opened from 45 to 32days
If you intend to open a dispute for an item which remains unpaid for more than 30 days, but less than 45 days, you should contact customer service.
