***Changes to stores, store fees and search on eBay.com.au***

10 September 2009 | 10:28AM EST

As previously announced, a number of changes on eBay.com.au come into effect today.

These changes include the introduction of:

  • Best Match as the default sort order replacing Time Ending Soonest
  • New Store packages and changes to store fees
  • Increased visibility for store listings

If you’re shopping on eBay you may notice an increase in the number of items and a change in how search results are displayed. The aim of the changes is to make finding what you’re looking for even easier.

If you’re selling on eBay you too will notice an increase in items and a change in how search results are displayed. If you don’t currently have a store your fees won’t change at all, but you might want to consider if a store package is right for you. If you do have a store, it’s important you understand the changes to stores and fees that come into effect today. Visit our FAQs on stores and fees for more information.

For further details of all the changes, visit 'The big news' page or sit back and watch our Online Webcasts. The Best Match tool is also available now to help sellers understand how well their listings are performing.

Regards,
The eBay team
