***New look for Selling Manager & Selling Manager Pro Summary Pages*** |
 |
 |
 |
25 May 2009 | 09:36AM EST

In June, the summary page for both Selling Manager and Selling Manager Pro will be upgraded with a new look and some additional features.
All the functionality currently offered on the summary page will still be available and any customisations you’ve already made will be carried over.
Here’s an overview of the new features:
Customisable summary page
Every section on the new summary page (e.g. listing activity) has an edit option. This lets you move the sections around, change the colour and customise how your data is displayed.
Shortcuts menu
The Shortcuts menu from My eBay will be added to the Selling Manager and Selling Manager Pro summary page. You can use this section to display the links you use most often.
Account Status
Account Status gives you an overview of your account activity on the summary page. (If you would like to see this section, please go to Page Options in order to select it.)
More data in At a Glance
In the new summary page, At a Glance will show data of your recent sales for the previous 120 days.
Regards,
The eBay team

***Changes to Customer Service Operations*** |
 |
 |
 |
06 May 2009 | 03:00PM EST

eBay announced today the consolidation of its North American Customer Services Operations and the planned closure of its Vancouver facility.
The consolidation of eBay’s North American customer service operations is expected to capture efficiencies and facilitate the delivery of new service programs designed to improve the customer experience with eBay.
For Australian buyers and sellers, the closure of the Vancouver customer service facility will mean the transition of support services, including telephone, email and live chat services, to existing facilities in the US and the Philippines by early August.
eBay’s Manila facility, which currently supplies a significant level of email and live chat services to Australian members, will expand its services, and eBay’s US facility in Salt Lake City will increase its services to the Australian market.
eBay is committed to supporting the individuals impacted by the Vancouver closure, and the Canadian facility will be closed for 24 hours to allow staff members time to consider details of the announcement. During this period, email and live chat services will continue to operate, while phone support will be available again from Friday morning, Australian time.

The eBay Team
