The technology looks at a multitude of details in listings to deliver more of the results you want. It makes it easy to browse and narrow your selection, and lets you choose how you want to see the results and even "anticipates" what you're typing in the search box.

We’ve had a lot of constructive feedback and great ideas from the community and have already incorporated a lot of these suggestions. In the coming months we’ll be introducing more new features and enhancements to make it even faster and easier.

Retiring the older technology

Until now, buyers and sellers have been able to ‘opt out’ of the new search engine but with more than 90% of members on eBay.com.au using the new search, we’ll be retiring the older technology over the next few days.
