The fee changes will be effective from 00:00:01am (AEST) on 29 April 2009.

Details of the changes:

Cars (category #29690 and associated sub-categories)
For cars listings where the starting auction price or Buy-It-Now price is below or equal to $5,000 an $8 insertion fee will be charged for the listing. For cars listings where the starting auction price or Buy-It-Now price is above $5,000 the insertion fee will be $10.

If the item listed is successfully sold it will incur a final value fee. If the final sale price of the item is $5,000 or less a fixed $35 final value fee will be charged (this is a reduced rate from current pricing). If the final sale price is greater than $5,000 then a fixed $40 final value fee will be incurred.

Motorcycles (category #32073 and associated sub-categories)
Motorcycles and associated sub-categories (Scooter, Trail Bikes, Quad Bikes etc) will be charged a $5 insertion fee when listed in Auction or Buy-It-Now format. If the item listed is successfully sold, it will incur a fixed $40 final value fee.

Other Vehicles (Boats, category #103477 and associated sub-categories; Aircraft, category #32635; Caravans & Motorhomes, category #32633; and Trucks & Commercials, category #47364)
Other Vehicles will be charged an $8 insertion fee when listed in auction or Buy-It-Now format. If the item is successfully sold, it will incur a fixed $40 final value fee.

Reserve fees, listing upgrade fees, picture service fees for these categories and fees for Classifieds listings will not be changing. The first 12 photos of your listing and several Upgrade Features (Gallery, Picture Show, and Picture Pack) are all still free.

The new fee structure will apply to all listings that commence on or after 00:00:01am (AEST) on 29 April 2009.
