In mid May, the Dutch auction format will be discontinued.
Both buyers and sellers have told us the format is too confusing and this is backed up by our data which shows the Dutch auction format is not widely used, accounting for a very small percentage of all auction listings.
If you currently list with the Dutch auction format you’ll have until mid May to convert your listings to another format, such as single-item auction listings or the multi-quantity fixed price format.
Any Dutch auction listings that are live when the format is discontinued will be allowed to run to their conclusion, and Good ‘Til Cancelled Dutch auctions will relist but will automatically be set to a quantity of one.
