Last month eBay commenced a trial, placing advertisements on View Item pages in a few categories on eBay.com.au. A new series of advertisements will appear in a few select categories (Sport, Electronics, Computers, Toys, Motors, Home) over the next few weeks.
Looking ahead, eBay will continue to offer advertisers space on View Item pages. In selling this space we will aim to place advertisements that complement the category and sellers’ listings. For example links to home and contents insurance offers in the Home category.
