The new search launched as scheduled on Tuesday 21 October, but owing to a small technical issue some members were not shown the opt out link.

	16 October 2008 \| 04:14PM EST After many months of development, testing and community consultation, the new search (formerly known as Playground) will become the default on eBay.com.au next week. Thanks to everyone who’s given us feedback in the process – we appreciate it. With the new search you can: Select multiple product options at once (such as more than one colour, plus different sizes, brands etc). Automatic inclusion of synonyms (e.g. ‘fridge’ = ‘refrigerator’), so there's no need for you to include alternate words or spellings in your search. Browse by pictures in Window Shopping view (saving you time). If you’d prefer to use the existing search, you can opt out of the new search by clicking the link at the foot of the search results page. Further improvements will be appearing over the coming weeks and months. Your suggestions are welcome and can be submitted by emailing aucategory@eBay.com. Regards The eBay team
