eBay would like to invite its community of sellers to participate in a new series of programs that have been designed to help eBay understand your business concerns better, and formulate a strategy to drive your sales success.
Online Survey to the Selling Community
In the coming days, a broad cross section of sellers will be invited to participate in an online survey. This survey has been designed to capture your thoughts on what we can do to improve how we communicate with you and better understand how we can work with you to grow your eBay sales. We strongly encourage all recipients to complete the survey - the better the response rate, the more conclusive the results.
Please note - in order to receive the survey members must opt in to receive marketing communications from eBay (this can be updated by going to My eBay – Notification Preferences).
eBay Sponsorship of the 2nd Annual PeSA Conference - 10 & 11 September
eBay, PayPal and Shopping.com are proud to be the primary sponsors of this year's PeSA (Professional eBay Sellers Alliance) Conference. The two day event is open to all eBay sellers; we encourage as many sellers to attend as possible. eBay will present a range of topics including Buyer Insights and Onsite Search and there will be other sessions hosted by PayPal, Shopping.com and Gumtree.
eBay, PayPal and Shopping.com team members will also be hosting booths and look forward to providing you with insights and advice on growing your businesses.
Further information about the PeSA conference will be available in a separate announcement soon.
eBay Community Group Forums - National Tour
Throughout August and September, the eBay team will be touring the country hosting small group forums in key metropolitan and regional areas. These sessions offer people the opportunity to speak with eBay staff face to face in an open environment. The forums have been designed to allow for the exchange of ideas and information, and help eBay understand the challenges that members face when trading on eBay. These events will be by invitation only as numbers are strictly limited.
These three initiatives form the basis of our community outreach program for 2008 and beyond - with more events planned for 2009. The consolidated insights from these programs will be presented back to our community in due course along with an outline of how eBay is working to address the key issues and ideas raised by you.
Regards,
The eBay team
