eBay has made some important security and reporting enhancements to your invoices. How will this affect you?
Change to how you access your invoices
The next invoice you receive by email will contain only a text summary of your invoice information, including the amount due and your payment method on file. To view the full invoice details you will need to log into your eBay account.
We believe this sign-in step helps further protect you from inadvertently sharing your account details with fraudsters by clicking on links and buttons in spoof (fake) emails.
Improvements to help you analyse your invoices
To give you more flexibility when analysing your invoices, you can now do the following:
- Download your invoice into an HTML file (non-editable)
- Download your invoice into a CSV file enabling you to sort your invoice transactions using any application that supports the CSV format, such as Microsoft Excel
- Easily track the fees you've paid through the "subtotals by fee or item" report
To check your latest invoice:
- Sign in to My eBay.
- Go to My Seller Account.
- Select View Invoice.
