****** Coming Soon: Bid Assistant – your new best friend *******

24 May 2007 | 09:43AM EST

Is managing your auctions becoming a tricky juggling act?

Let Bid Assistant do all the work for you. Bid Assistant is a tool that makes managing and bidding on your watched items a piece of cake.

How does it work?

Let's say you want a new ipod nano, and you have five listings for this product in your Watch List. With Bid Assistant, you can group them together and enter the maximum amount you want to pay for each listing.

Once set up, Bid Assistant will place your maximum bid on the item that's ending soonest. While the listing is active, our bidding system will automatically update your bid amount up to your maximum amount.

This amount could be the same for each listing or you could specify different amounts for each item within the group.

If you win, you get to celebrate your victory! And the rest of your listings will not be bid on by Bid Assistant. If you miss out, Bid Assistant will automatically bid on the next auction in your group, until you win one of the listings or all of your chosen listings end.

Who can use Bid Assistant?

You must have a feedback score of 5 or more to use Bid Assistant.

Look out for Bid Assistant, due to launch on eBay.com.au next week.
