Sellers will soon be able to set up and display a list of custom created frequently asked questions for prospective buyers, visible on the Ask Seller a Question page.
Prospective buyers will be encouraged to search for answers from this list before submitting their question, saving time for both the seller and the buyer.
Sellers, you will be able to:
- Custom create up to 15 Frequently Asked Questions. Some commonly asked questions you may choose to address are: "Do you take PayPal?" or "Will you combine shipping if I buy multiple items?"
- Opt into showing on the Ask Seller a Question page any or all Item Specifics as per the View Item Page.
- Display any questions (and answers) from buyers that you’ve already answered and posted on your listing.
To customise your Ask Seller a Question page, go to your Preferences in My eBay. In the Selling Preferences section, click the "Show" link next to the Ask Seller a Question section. From there, simply click the "Edit" link and begin customising.
