To make it easier for sellers to track their inventory through the different stages of a sale, the Custom Label field will now be shared across three of eBay's main listing tools – Turbo Lister, Selling Manager Pro, and File Exchange. For example, if you use Turbo Lister to list an item with a Custom Label (such as "located in Aisle 2, Shelf 3") this Custom Label will also be displayed in Selling Manager Pro to help you fulfil your buyer's order.
The Custom Label will replace the following current fields in our seller tools:
- "Item Label" in Turbo Lister
- "Part Number" in Selling Manager Pro
- "Private ID" in File Exchange
Selling Manager Pro and File Exchange will be upgraded automatically to include the shared Custom Label field. It will also appear in the new Turbo Lister, which you can download at the Turbo Lister page.

The eBay Team
