Every month changes are made to the category structure on eBay.com.au to make it easier for members browsing eBay to find what they are looking for. A lot of these changes are driven by community suggestions, so a big thank you to those members who wrote in!
This month there are some major changes in:
- Antiques & Art
- Cameras & Accessories
- Crafts
- Mobiles & Phones
- Music
- Lots More
In addition, we are pleased to announce the launch of a new major category in Baby & Maternity! There has been a lot of community demand for this, and the new category will pull together existing subcategories from Home & Lifestyle (Baby & Nursery) and Clothing & Accessories (Baby Clothing and Maternity Clothing). Also, to reflect the inclusion of Baby Toys in this new category, the existing "Baby, Preschool Toys" subcategory in Toys & Hobbies will be renamed to "Preschool Toys (12 months +)".
There are also some minor changes to other categories not mentioned here.
These changes are currently scheduled to go live early in the week beginning 15th August. We strongly encourage members to pay careful attention to which categories have changed and to update Turbo Lister. Existing listings may be moved as categories are split, moved, or renamed.
