All eBay members are required to comply with certain trading rules and policies, to help ensure that our marketplace is open and honest, and operates in the best interests of our community. One important condition of eBay's User Agreement is that member information (including listing content and other information) must not be false, inaccurate, misleading or deceptive.
When it comes to listing, this requirement applies to all aspects of the listing, including the location of the item. It is important that buyers be made aware of the location of each item - particularly if it is coming from overseas or interstate, as additional costs and charges may apply for these sales.
We always encourage buyers to do their research and ask the seller lots of questions before bidding on or buying an item, so that they are comfortable with all aspects of a transaction before proceeding.
We also strongly encourage members to report to us any listings that appear to contravene our requirements, so that we can investigate and take any appropriate action (up to an including suspension of members' accounts).
You can report listings to us by using the 'Report this Item' button found at the bottom of each listing, or by contacting Customer Support.
For more information, please refer to our User Agreement and trading policies.
Regards,
The eBay Team
